【摘要】:ThispartoffourEuropeanStandardsspecifiesacompliancetestprovidinginformationonleachingofgranularwastesandsludgesundertheexperimentalconditionsspecifiedhereafter,andparticularlyaliquidtosolidratioof10l/kgdrymatter.Itappliestowastewhichhasaparticlesizebelow4mmwithoutorwithsizereduction(asspecifiedin4.3.2)ThisEuropeanStandardhasbeendevelopedtoinvestigatemainlyinorganicconstituentsfromwastes.Itdoesnottakeintoaccounttheparticularcharacteristicsofnon-polarorganicconstituentsnortheconsequencesofmicrobiologicalprocessesinorganicdegradablewastes.ThetestprocedurespecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardproducesaneluatewhichshallsubsequentlybecharacterisedphysicallyandchemicallyaccordingtoappropriatestandardmethods.NOTE1Thisprocedurecannotbeapplicabletomaterialswithawatercontentorsuchawateraffinitythatagoodmixingofthesolidwiththepredeterminedquantityofliquidisnotachievable.NOTE2Thisprocedurecannotbeapplicabletomaterialsreactingwiththeleachant,leading,forexample,toexcessivegasemission,asolidifyingeffectoranexcessiveheatrelease.NOTE3Bycrushingthematerial,newsurfacesareexposedwhichmayleadtoachangeinleachingproperties.Thistestcannotbeusedalonetodeterminetheleachingbehaviourofawaste,asspecifiedinENV12920.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotaddressissuesrelatedtohealthandsafety.
