【摘要】:ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheL-60-1test.Itcoverstheoil-thickening,insolubles-formation,anddeposit-formationcharacteristicsofautomotivemanualtransmissionandfinaldriveaxlelubricatingoilswhensubjectedtohigh-temperatureoxidizingconditions.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardexceptforthecatalystweightlossandoilweightmeasurements,forwhichtheunitisgram;theoilvolume,forwhichtheunitismillilitre;thealternatoroutput,forwhichtheunitiswatt;andtheairflow,forwhichtheunitismilligramperminute.TheotherSIvalues,whichareinparentheses,areforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarninginformationisgiveninSections7and8andAnnexA3.
